A Lima man is facing charges after Livingston County Sheriff's Deputies say he stole two steers from a farm and sold them at an auction.
Jeffery Button, 41, of Lima, is charged with grand larceny.
The Sheriff's Office received a complaint last week regarding two stolen steers from a farm in Lima. The owner told sheriff's deputies that the steers were missing from his farm and valued them at over $4,000.
Sheriff's Deputies say Button stole the animals on November 8 and sold them at an auction for more $2,000.
Button was arrested in Perry Monday. He was arraigned in the Town of Lima and was sent to the Livingston County Jail where he is being held without bail. He will appear back in court at a later date.
