The Pike Company and LECESSE Construction Services announced on Monday that the two local firms will merge.
The Pike and LECESSE brands, as well as their individual workforces will remain intact.
Andrew Hislop, president and CEO of LECESSE Construction Services said, “I am thrilled about the opportunity to increase our project capabilities, open new markets and enable specialized knowledge sharing with The Pike Company. Pike and LECESSE share common goals of quality construction and exceptional service to our clients.”
LECESSE is a full-service construction management firm. Established in 1952, they specialize in health care and higher education. LECESSE works regionally throughout the New England, Mid-Atlantic, Mid-Western, and Southeastern states.
The Pike Company's president and chief operating officer Rufus Judson believes that “this merger will add to [Pike's] already impressive experience in healthcare construction and expand our geographic footprint into the Midwest and Southeast regions.”
The Pike Company was established in 1873, serving clients throughout the Northeast. Their services range from construction management, general contracting, design/build, and facility management.
Both companies are motivated to expand their healthcare facility offerings.
