There’s a new ballet studio in the City of Rochester.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Wednesday morning for Inna Ballet on Genesee Street near the University of Rochester.
The director, Inna Esipova, has been a professional Russian ballet dancer for more than 20 years. She opened a school in Albion in 2011 and recently moved her school to Rochester.
News10NBC spoke with Inna and her husband, Dmitry, at Wednesday’s ribbon cutting who say they hope people from the University of Rochester will come take a class at the studio. “I believe that students will enjoy her so those few who actually found her by now enjoy her tremendously and what we hope is that many people from the University of Rochester who are just walking distance from us will find out about her, will come and take lessons and will be happy they found her.”
Inna Ballet is open Monday through Saturday and has classes for children and adults.
