Police: Canandaigua man used laser to point at officer

A Canandaigua man was arrested after police say he directed a laser pointer at a Canandaigua police officer.

David Noaker, 48, was charged with third-degree menacing after Canandaigua City Police were called in to investigate a noise complaint between Noaker and his neighbor at Holiday Harbor in Canandaigua.

According to police, Noaker pointed a red laser beam from a window of his apartment at a police officer writing a report in a patrol car.

Police did search Noaker's home, but didn't find any weapons.

Noaker was remanded to the Ontario County jail with no bail set.
