People were out and about on Sunday taking advantage of the unusually high temperatures for this time of year.
No doubt if you were out you saw a lot of people running outside, taking their dogs for a walk, or kids playing outside.
Many have been cooped up in the house this winter because it's been too cold to go outside. So when many Rochester residents woke up Sunday morning, they couldn't help but take advantage of the high temperatures and spend the day outdoors.
In Pittsford several people were enjoying the weather along the canal.
Many came out to take a stroll or to walk with their kids. There were also families feeding ducks near the water, which is usually a springtime activity, not to mention those who took their pets out for a stroll.
The hike in temperatures brought several people together for a temporary splash of spring.
“The weather is beautiful. It's unheard of, it's like 70 something right now. Just love the coffee and just love the canal in Pittsford. It's just a beautiful day,” said Brian Stewart.
“It's shocking. It was really nice to see that it was so nice out today. I mean, I put on a jacket expecting something different, so we came out and it was a beautiful day, so we decided to get a walk in and come down and see the shops,” said Elizabeth Jaramillo.
News10NBC asked many people if they knew temperatures would drop back into the 30s on Monday. They said they refuse to think about that yet.
