A group of RPO board members and supporters of Conductor Arild Remmereit are hoping their plan to elect new RPO members will work out.
Eight board positions are up for re-election Wednesday night.
In an effort to make their stance known, supporters of the ousted conductor have come up with a slate of eight write-in candidates for tonight's election.
This all comes as a result of the orchestra terminating the conductor's contract.
Wednesday night's plan could run into some legal problems. RPO bylaws say candidates had to declare their intention to run by the end of October 2012.
The conductor's supporters are hopeful that the write-in campaign will be enough to make some changes at the orchestra and they are ready to take this battle to court if need be.
