Rochester man charged with rape

A 25-year-old Rochester man has been arrested on charges of second-degree rape and criminal sexual act.

Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies say Warren Elliott engaged in sexual conduct more than once with a Town of Jerusalem resident who was under the age of 15.

Elliott is currently in the Yates County Jail pending $15,000 cash bail.

An order of protection was issued barring Elliott from having any contact with the victim.
