Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic cuts 58 positions

Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic announced Friday that it has reduced its workforce by 58 full-time equivalent positions.

The president and CEO of the hospital says the hospital is preparing for the Affordable Care Act which could mean potential reductions in reimbursement, and a shift in how future services will be delivered. 

Eligible employees were offered severance packages.
