Two people arrested in connection with Key Bank robbery in Irondequoit

Two people were arrested in connection with Tuesday's bank robbery in Irondequoit.

Joseph Machado, of 23, of Irondequoit is charged with robbery and grand larceny. Police say Machado entered the Key Bank on E. Ridge Road in Irondequoit on Tuesday morning and showed the teller a note demanding money. Police say Machado was dressed in dark clothing, had a black puffy jacket on and a Chicago White Sox hat on .

A witness saw Machado leave the bank and run into a dark color vehicle waiting on a side street. Police say 25-year-old Dominique Rotondi, of Rochester, was in the vehicle, waiting for Machado. She's been charged with robbery and grand larceny as an accomplice.

Machado and Rotondi were arrested at a motel in Henrietta. Both are being held for arraignment in Irondequoit Town Court.
