City Hall, RCSD celebrate Black History Month

It's a yearly tradition at City Hall and it will kick off Friday.

The first "Gospel Friday" concert will be held this afternoon in honor of Black History Month.

Immaculate Conception choir will perform at 12:30 p.m. and you can check out the concerts every Friday during the month of February in the atrium at City Hall.

The Rochester City School District will also celebrate Black History Month with "A Taste of Soul."

You will be able to sample food made by students in the East High School culinary program and listen to student music performances. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at East High School.
