It's a rematch, a month and a half in the making. Fairport and Webster Schroeder Boys Basketball are the two best teams in Section V and they tip off round two.

Undefeated Fairport handed Webster Schroeder their lone loss of the season in December, since then the two teams have rolled through their opponents. Now only one can continue that roll after Friday night.

The Red Raiders won a tight game the first time around, 67-62, but the Warriors were without their top scorer Emitt Holt for the contest.

Now both teams have their full rosters intact when they meet in Webster.

The two sides play very similar games, spreading the floor with multiple three point    shooters and a dominant big man to control the paint.

Schroeder has three players that average double figure scoring, and Fairport has four. Schroeder head coach Matt Spadoni says with Holt back for for this match up, it should be an exciting game..

Matt Spadoni, Webster Schroeder Head Coach, said, “He averages 16 points and 13 rebounds. They hurt us on the offensive glass but we are going to have to come in an play and they have an excellent team.”

Scott Fitch, Fairport Varsity Basketball Coach, said, “I think that both teams match up great we both have a big man inside and that's why we've had early success in the season.”

The game is at Webster Schroeder. Tip off set for 7:45. A big crowd is expected.
