Some local YMCA members kicked off Super Bowl Sunday with a high-intensity indoor triathlon.
The 13th annual Y-Tri is comprised of a swim, stationary bike ride and indoor track run, each 15 minutes long, with the goal of covering the greatest distance.
All of the money raised goes toward the YMCA's Investment in Youth Campaign.
Organizers encouraged participation from everyone regardless of age or fitness level.
“I think our youngest is nine years old and our oldest is over 70, so we have quite a broad range. It's not really a typical age range either. We have had families participate, but there's probably every age range represented,” said YMCA Executive Director Stephen MacAller.
News10NBC is waiting to hear how much money was raised during Sunday's event.
