If you live or work in Victor you might have noticed an unusual street sign near the high school.
It looks like a warning to watch out for surfers crossing on High Street.
Melody Burri from The Victor Post tweeted a picture of the sign on Saturday.
The Village's Director of Public Works told News10NBC on Tuesday that the sign is just a prank.
Someone put a surfboard sticker on a regular pedestrian crossing sign.
News10NBC is told crews couldn't get the sticker off and it costs $30 dollars to replace the sign, so the Village will leave it.
The Village says people will still understand that pedestrians are crossing there, with their feet or with their surf boards.
