The tragic story of a College at Brockport student found dead in her dorm room, is featured in the newest issue of Seventeen magazine.
An article about abusive relationships includes the story of Alexandra Kogut, the 18-year old college freshman who was killed in September.
Kogut's boyfriend, 21-year-old Clayton Whittemore, has been charged with murder in her death. He pleaded not guilty.
Kogut's story is part of an article called "The Time Bomb Boyfriend" warning teens about the dangers of violent relationships.
It includes a quote from a statement police say Whittemore made the night of Kogut's death, including when police say he told them "I just snapped."
The article also has quotes from Kogut's sister who says she spoke to Alexandra the night of her death and that Kogut seemed happy.
The March issue of Seventeen magazine is available on shelves now.
