An Ontario County Grand Jury has indicted a woman accused of killing her husband and then burning and cutting up his body.
Rose Chase of Stanley pleaded not guilty this morning to second-degree murder, tampering with evidence, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say she killed her husband, Adam, by pushing him down a flight of stairs. Investigators say Rose then burned his body and dumped the remains on property her mother owns in Yates County.
Adam Chase was reported missing in June and investigators found his remains in December.
His family suspected foul play from the beginning.
