West Irondequoit Board of Education approves I-Square project

The West Irondequoit Board of Education took another vote on a resolution of "I-Square", the project that would bring new shops, restaurants and community space to Hudson Avenue and Titus Avenues.

The vote incorporated changes made at a meeting last week when Assemblyman Joe Morelle announced the project would be granted a pilot status or payment in lieu of taxes for the next 25 years.

The Irondequoit Town Board still has to give its approval.
