New research suggests if you drink diet soda, you are at a higher risk of Type 2 diabetes.
Data from 66,000 women showed sugar sweetened drinks were linked to the condition but diet drinkers were at an even bigger risk.
Experts say these findings don't mean diet drinks cause diabetes. It could be that people who are already prone to diabetes tend to drink more diet drinks in an effort to cut down their sugar intake.
