Rochester Police officers called to a home to investigate a burglary found a body of a man inside. Investigators say the body appeared to have suffered signs of trauma.
Police were called to a home on Tacoma Street just after 8 a.m. Officers say when they arrived on scene, the front door of one of the apartments was open and they found the body. They are still looking for evidence and investigators called in K-9 units to spread out through the neighborhood and look for clues to figure out what happened to the victim.
Rochester Police Commander Tim List said, “There are signs of trauma, which leads us to believe that this is a homicide so that we will be investigating it as such. Right now, it is an unattended suspicious death and will be investigating it as a homicide. The Medical Examiner would have to make the final determination into the nature of the injuries and the cause of death.”
