Three new restaurants could soon be part of The Mall at Greece Ridge.
According to our news partners at Messenger Post Newspapers, Bar Louie, Moe's Southwest Grill and Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, if they receive special use permits from the Greece Town Board, will move into a wing being renovated at the mall. The wing was most recently anchored by the Bon-Ton department store.
The nearly $12 million project is being completed by the mall's owner, Wilmorite Management Group LLC.
Bar Louie's closest location is at the Walden Galleria in Buffalo. Moe's has locations in Henrietta, Pittsford, Victor and Webster and will soon open one on East Avenue in Rochester. Red Robin has restaurants in Henrietta and Webster.
Applications for special use permits require public hearings. Hearings on all three ' applications will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 at Greece Town Hall, 1 Vince Tofany Blvd.
A fourth restaurant could join the new mall wing, but its identity is still unknown, according to Gary Tajkowski, the town's director of development services. Retailers are also going to be added to the mall, but they have yet to be announced, he added.
"I think they are looking to be open for business either completely or at least partially by fall of this year," he said.
