He is now the first television broadcaster to be inducted into the Amerks Hall of Fame.

Former News10NBC anchor, Rich Funke, was inducted into the Amerks Hall of Fame.  It was just a few months ago, Rich retired from News10NBC after more than 40 years on the air. And for many of those years, he was the sports director.

During his career, he covered three Calder Cup Championships for the Amerks.

Funke said, "To be able to come back and be able to be considered a hall of famer for what I did, I don't know why, but it sure is nice. I hope that Rochester understands how important it is that this franchise be successful, because it's a great team and a great logo. It's got a great history."

Also inducted into the Amerks Hall of Fame was former captain Dane Jackson.
