Two Rochester men were arrested early Sunday morning after deputies tracked their footprints in the snow for almost four miles.

Three K9 units tracked down Tyrone Gordon, 40, and Rene Gonzalez, 26, outside of the RIT Inn and Conference Center.

The search started after Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a call around 1:45 a.m. Sunday morning for a vehicle that had left the roadway on Sylvan Drive in the Town of Rush. Upon arrival they determined the car was reported stolen from the Town of Brighton.

After seeing footprints in the snow leading from the car, deputies brought out the K9 units. They tracked the suspects for almost four miles through rough terrain and snow before finally finding them.

Gordon and Gonzalez are charged with criminal possession of stolen property and criminal mischief.
