A Greece Police chase turned into a dangerous standoff in Parma.
Greece Police surrounded the home on Parma Center Road just before 1:30 p.m.
Officers say they initially tried to pull 42-year-old Thomas Bell, over during a routine traffic stop, but he sped away. Investigators say Bell made it all the way back to his home and barricaded himself inside.
Police say Bell came out of his house just before 5:00p.m. and has been taken into custody.
According to police, Bell was wanted on four outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Bell was arraigned in Greece Court and and is being held at the Monroe County Jail in-lieu of $55,000.00 Bail.
Along with the Greece Police Department, Law enforcement officials from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, State Police, and Irondequoit Police, were on scene.
