Police ID victim in deadly car crash in Greece

Greece Police have released the name of the man who died in a two car crash in Greece Wednesday night.

Greece Police tell News10NBC 57-year-old Michael J. Thomson, of Greece, was driving westbound on Latta Road around 5:10 p.m. when his car hit a curb on the bridge over Interstate 390, then crossed into the eastbound lane, hitting another car.

Police say Thomson was taken to Strong Hospital where he was pronounced dead. They say it is unknown at this time whether or not a medical condition, the crash or a combination of both contributed to his death.

According to police the driver of the car that was hit did not suffer any injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
