The Rochester Music Hall of Fame announced the 2013 inductees at a ceremony Thursday morning.

The inductees are: George Eastman, Lou Gramm, Eddie James “Son” House, Bat McGrath, Mitch Miller, Nick Nickson, Jack Palvino and Don Potter.

The inductees were chosen based on their contribution to Rochester’s musical history.

Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks says their legacy is helping the future of music and arts in our community. “Even as we speak, across the street at the Eastman School of Music, we have the next generation of hall of famers. Our music history will just keep on giving to Rochester and Monroe County.”

The induction ceremony will take place on April 28.
