A Canandaigua man charged last year with sexually abusing boys was arraigned Monday on a 35-count indictment before Judge Craig Doran.
Leslie Hoke, 37, was indicted on charges including first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child and 19 counts of third-degree criminal sexual act. A pre-trial conference and argument of motions has been scheduled for April 19.
Hoke's attorney, Aaron Sperano, said that there are three alleged victims listed in the indictment. He said Hoke "maintains his innocence and is looking forward to the trial date."
Sperano added that there is an ongoing investigation by New York state police into possible incidents in Yates, Steuben and Wayne counties.
Assistant District Attorney Jason MacBride said Hoke faces a possible sentence of up to about 50 years in prison, as well as post-release supervision.
Doran issued orders of protection for the three individuals listed as victims in the indictment. Bail for Hoke will remain at $250,000 cash or $500,000 insurance bond.
