Animal cruelty arrest in Ontario County

The Ontario County Office Sheriff's Office and Humane Society investigated an animal cruelty complaint in Shortsville Wednesday.

Deputies say Anne Marie Hudson of Shortsville failed to get medical attention for a 3-month-old puppy after it was repeatedly vomiting. The puppy had died and its remains were found in a neighbor's plastic trash tote.

Hudson was arrested and charged with Animal Cruelty. She will appear in Manchester Town Court at a later date.
