A West Webster firefighter, Ted Scardino, who was wounded in the ambush attack on Christmas Eve, will testify on Capitol Hill Tuesday on gun trafficking prevention.

Scardino will give testimony Tuesday at the Capitol in Washington, D.C. to the task force on the Webster incident and on his support for H.R. 452, the gun trafficking prevention act. The legislation make firearms trafficking a federal crime and impose stronger penalties for “straw purchasers” who buy guns for convicted felons and others who are prohibited from buying guns on their own.
