Many Americans will celebrate Easter on a budget this year.
According to a new survey from the National Retail Federation, conducted by Big-Insight, the average person will spend just slightly over $145 on Easter goodies. That's almost exactly the same as last year.
The survey found that the vast majority of the Easter budget goes toward food for a family brunch or dinner.
More than 63-percent of consumers will visit discount stores for their Easter needs while 40-percent will shop at their favorite department store.
