The YWCA kicked off its third annual "Stand Against Racism" campaign Wednesday morning.
Organizers say there are number of ways you can participate. You can start by signing an online pledge to stand up against racism. To sign the pledge, click here.
The YWCA is also reaching out to businesses, schools and worship sites to encourage discussions about race. Organizers say when it comes to diversity, our community is getting it wrong.
Jennifer Leonard, Community Foundation, said, "We live separately, go to school separately, work separately so we don't socialize, get business opportunities, and don't always trust each other."
There are also public service announcements about "Stand Against Racism" running on TV.
