News10NBC Today anchor Nikki Rudd had eye surgery Thursday and her doctor, Dr. Kenneth Lindahl, says the procedure went wonderfully.

Nikki had what’s called Advanced Surface Ablation to correct her poor vision. The goal is she will be 20/20 once she heals.

If you are interested in something like this, it costs about $1,900 to $2,400 per eye, depending on the procedure. Rochester Eye and Laser Center is going to be part of a clinical study and those participants can get $500 off.

We spoke with Nikki this morning and she said she’s still in pain but is hoping to be back on the anchor desk next week.
