News10NBC has learned the 16-year-old who was stabbed during a party in Penfield early Saturday morning has been upgraded to satisfactory condition.
Sheriff's deputies say 16-year-old Paul Luft became involved in a fight with another teen in the street on Alpine Drive.
That's when deputies say 18-year-old Brandon Henderson intervened and stabbed Luft.
After the stabbing, deputies say Henderson and his friends left the scene of the crime. Investigators were able to locate Henderson along with a two other friends at a residence on Macedon Center Road in Wayne County.
Henderson was arrested and arraigned in Penfield Saturday morning. He is charged with assault and is currently being held in Monroe County Jail.
