The Rochester museum is launching its Puzzlers School-Break Week on Friday, and it will run until Sunday, April 7.
Created by New Zealand artist Royce B. McClure, designer of more than 100 puzzles, ""Life, The Greatest Puzzle" is composed of 30 different paintings and stretches more than 14 feet long. It includes 24,000 pieces and takes about 400 hours to complete.
Kids and families can also play puzzle computer games, put together floor puzzles and check out some unusual puzzles - like one that glows in the dark and a 3-D model of the Statue of Liberty.
Museum hours are Monday though Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. Tickets to the Strong are $13 for ages 2 and older, free for kids under age 2 and members are free. Entrance to Puzzler's School-Break Week is included in the ticket price.
