After being cooped up all winter long, dozens of anglers from all over our area came out Monday for the opening of trout season.
The Powder Horn Lodge in Powder Mills Park held its 10th annual Opening Day Derby and everyone was out to try to nab the biggest fish.
It was probably caught by Ryan DeRosa -- he's only in fourth grade and he caught a seven pounder -- it was 22 inches long.
Unfortunately he didn't catch it until after the competition was over so he didn't get a prize for the fish.
