Diabetes is a serious and growing problem. 346 million people have it and it's expected to go up to 500 million by 2030.
But those involved in the Unity Health Community Diabetes Collaborative or CDC has helped local patients improve their blood glucose levels.
Jean Bauch, the program's director and Dr. Scott Stratton-Smith, a primary care physician at Unity Family Medicine at Chili Center, spoke with News10NBC's Don Hudson on Roc City Tonight. To see the interview, press play on the video player.
