Would you ever dare to rappel 21 stories down the side of a building?
The local Boy Scout council is once again giving people a chance to rappel down the outside of the First Federal Building.
This is the fourth annual 21 Stories for Scouts event which will be held on May 17. To participate, you have to raise $1,000 and all the money goes to local scouting programs in the city.
Organizers say already 48 people have signed up and their goal is to get 80 people and raise more than $60,000.
Scout Executive Stephen Hoitt said, “From a kids perspective, scouting is about fun. It is about doing neat and new things they have never had the opportunity to do before, whether it be horse back riding or archery or camping. but from an adults perspective, it is development of character and leadership in young men and young women.”
Now we haven't decided who at News10NBC is going to rappel 21 stories and need your help deciding. Tell us who you think should be selected on our Facebook page.
Amanda Ciavarri and Nikki Rudd have already taken the plunge.
