The bird flu is spreading overseas and the University of Rochester Medical Center is taking steps to figure out which vaccines will work. And researchers need your help.
They are looking for 20 volunteers to participate in a 12-day study. A vaccine containing a live, but weak bird flu virus will be sprayed in your nose. Then you'll have to stay in isolation at the Unity campus for the duration of the study.
Researchers will test blood and nose cells to see how your body reacts to the vaccine.
Who can participate? Anyone between 18-years-old and 42-years-old who is in good health. You cannot be pregnant or allergic to eggs. If you're chosen, you will be paid up to $1,710.
