A Batavia man has admitted to taking a 16-year-old girl across state lines to have sex.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Timothy Logsdon has pleaded guilty. According to the office, an investigation began last September when the girl's parent reported her missing. During an interview with FBI agents, the office says the parents indicated their daughter might be with Logsdon.
Police eventually tracked the two down in Kentucky. That's where prosecutors say Logsdon admitted he was bringing the girl to Tennessee where they planned to live together.
Logsdon, who is 29-years-old, faces a maximum of ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced in August.
