Over the course of three months, more than 45,000 people from 840 cities visited the “RACE: Are We So Different?” exhibit at the Rochester Museum & Science Center.
Museum officials say the exhibit explored the history, science and lived experience of race and showed national statistics on race and inequity through data collected over the years. Locally, the Democrat and Chronicle, ACT Rochester, the Monroe County Library and WXXI held workshops and discussions focusing on the statistics in the Rochester community.
The exhibit closed on Sunday, April 28. If you didn't get a chance to check it out, watch Janet Lomax's story about the exhibit here.
