After going into overtime, the Rochester Amerks lost to the Toronto Marlies Wednesday night.

The Amerks had to win against Toronto in order to keep their season alive.

The team was already down 0-2 against the Marlies in round one of the playoffs.

The Amerks benched goalie David Leggio for Matt Hackett in game two, which didn't make a difference as the team still lost.

The Amerks were back in Rochester for game three. Head Coach Chadd Cassidy had to figure out which goalie would be his superhero and chose David Leggio.

The game was tied at two at the end of the third period, sending the game into overtime.

The Amerks fell to the Marlies in overtime 3-2, ending their season.

The Amerks have now lost 14 of 15 to the Marlies.
