Rochester Police have released the name of a Rochester woman who was stuck by two cars and killed late Thursday night.
Police say it happened when 24-year-old Crystal Bank was walking on Rochester's west side. Officers told News10NBC that Bank was in a crosswalk between West Main Street and Henion Street around 10:15 p.m. Thursday. Police say she was first hit by a car going westbound, which pushed her into the eastbound lane. Police say she was hit by a second car driving east.
Bank was pronounced dead just before 11 p.m. at Strong Hospital. A portion of West Main Street was shut down for more than three hours after the incident.
Police tell News10NBC that both drivers were questioned, and neither were under the influence of alcohol. No charges have been filed, and police haven't released the woman's name. Officers are questioning witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage of the area.
