More charges for a Seneca County man accused of dropping a car on his son, killing him.
Karl Karlsen has been indicted on four charges. Those charges are unlawfully concealing a will, perjury, making false statements and offering a false instrument for failing. Three of those charges are felony charges.
Officials say Karlsen lied to investigators about his son, Levi's will, saying there was no will, when in fact, investigators say there was and it had been notarized just hours before Levi's death. Levi was found crushed under a truck he was working on at the family's home in Romulus back in 2008. Karlsen was charged with his death in November 2012.
The sheriff says these new charges substantiate the previous murder charge and strengthen the case against Karlsen.
Karlsen was arraigned on the indictment Tuesday. He pleaded not guilty.
