A rodeo, complete with professional bull riding, will be held at the Burgundy Basin Inn on Friday.
The second annual "Wild West Showdown with Cancer" is the only local event created specifically to support oncology services at Rochester General Hospital.
Tickets are $80. Children under 16 may attend for free when accompanied by a parent. In addition to the rodeo, guests will receive a barbeque dinner, mechanical bull riding and a hayride.
Rochester General will also recognize two members of the Lipson Cancer Center team, Dr. Pradyumna Phatak, chief of medical oncology and hematology and Therese O'Connor, who serves as cancer center's social worker.
The rodeo begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Burgundy Basin Inn.
