A fifth grader brings smiles to the kids at Mary Cariola Children's Center Thursday.
Francesca Sorbello, from Fairport gave the kids a gift of 500 cans of Play-Doh!
Sorbello collected the cans by placing collection containers at her school and at local businesses. The fifth grader has been doing this for years.
Sorbello even used to ask friends to give her donations for Mary Cariola instead of birthday gifts each year.
"I just love helping people and I think the kids are really cute," said Sorbello, "They're just super thankful and they're really happy."
Teachers at Mary Cariola say the students use about 1,000 cans of Play-Doh each year.
The kids use the Play-Doh to help develop fine motor skills, color identification and for play!
