Men over the age of 45 got some important health and wellness information Thursday at the University of Rochester Medical Center's Ninth Annual Men's Health Day.
The event comes just in time for Men's Health Week and the upcoming Father's Day. Experts came together to address different areas of men's health. The men learned all about low testosterone, heart health, back pain and athletics and the link between memory and nutrition.
It's the type of event doctors say is especially important for older men.
Dr. Roger Oskvig, Strong Memorial Hospital, said,"Men, by and large, don't learn how to use health resources. So even into older adulthood, we need to teach men what they should expect from health care."
This year's Men's Health Day was a sold out even held at Mario's Italian Steakhouse.
