There are new rules for commercial truck drivers who share the road with you each day. Drivers will now spend less time behind the wheel.
New federal regulations that go into effect Monday require drivers to spend 70 hours a week on the road. That's down from 82 hours. There are also new rules for rest periods.
The trucking industry says fewer hours on the road will mean higher prices for you but safety groups claim the new rules don't go far enough nd that driver fatigue is a serious danger.
