The storm also caused some damage at area golf courses, one of those courses was Oak Hill Country Club, the site of this year's PGA Championship. But luckily there is some good news for golfers and golf fans.

The course was beat up Wednesday and was closed Thursday, but clean up crews were out Thursday morning and not only will the course be ready for the Pga Championship on August 8, Oak Hill will be ready for Friday.

There was serious flooding throughout the course, specifically Allen's Creek which overflowed onto the 7th and 8th fairways of the east course. But Oak Hill has great drainage and by Thursday morning there was no water on the course.

There was also a tree that feel on the 8th hole which was removed.

The west course will reopen Friday and in the words of general manager Dan Farrell, the east course will open very shortly.

When the PGA Championship comes to Oak Hill the week ofAugust 5th, there will be no effects felt from this storm.

The tree was removed and the 8th hole and the rest of the course will have golfers back on it Thursday.
