The Brighton Fire Chief tells News10NBC there were no serious injuries when a tractor trailer and a car crashed on the 390 North ramp to 590 in Brighton Friday afternoon.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. Both drivers were taken to the hospital.
According to the Fire Chief the biggest issue was the environmental impact of the 100 gallons of diesel fuel that leaked out of the tractor trailer and into the Brighton Town Pond.
A county hazmat team was called in to clean up the spill.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
