Four people were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital Thursday with minor injuries following a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ridge and Fisher Roads in Ontario, Wayne County sheriff’s deputies said.

Deputies said Nicholas M. Bailey, 26, of 2463 Welch Road, Geneva, was driving a pickup truck south on Fisher Road and was attempting to cross Ridge Road when the truck was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Ridge Road, operated by James J. Petrotta Jr., 41, of 2850 Ridge Road, Williamson. Bailey’s truck overturned and struck a third vehicle, operated by Diana G. Holbein, 57, of 320 state Route 21, Palmyra, that was north on Arbor Road and was stopped at the intersection.

Deputies said a passenger in Bailey’s truck, Nicole R. Ribis, 21, of 28 Antis St., Canandaigua, was taken by ambulance to the hospital with minor injuries. Petrotta and two children in his vehicle, ages 10 and 15, were also taken by ambulance to the hospital with minor injuries.

Bailey was ticketed with failure to yield the right of way, deputies said.
