PGA officials say Monday could be a record setting day in terms of crowds for the PGA. That means people from all over the country and even the world are coming to Oak Hill.
The crowds at the PGA are impossible to miss and all these people need to stay somewhere. In the parking lots of local hotels, it is clear there is a huge out of state and out of the country presence.
The Radisson in downtown Rochester says they only have a few rooms left and the Del Monte Lodge says they have been booked for eight months now.
Todd Plouffe, General Manager, The Del Monte Lodge Hotel and Spa, said, "It's very exciting to see the people coming in from all over. It allows us to showcase our product this week."
The Radisson mentioned they have a number of special events planned this week to go along with all the people who are here for the PGA and many of them are open to the public too. For more information, click here.
