Star safety Jarius Byrd has ended his holdout with the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills announced late Tuesday, that they had signed the free safety to his $6.9 million franchise tender. Byrd reportedly is looking for a contract that would make him the highest-paid safety in football.
Last season, Byrd had five interceptions, earning his first Pro Bowl nod since his he was a rookie in 2009.
Byrd will rejoin the team as they break training camp Wednesday. It's not yet clear whether Byrd will play this Saturday in the Bills third pre-season game against the Washington Redskins.
